Trio charged after shots fired in Hyde

Three men have been charged today after shots were fired in an incident in Hyde on Thursday.

Nobody was injured but damage was caused to a car.

Police were called to Croft Street in Hyde at around 2.35pm on Thursday.

Officers subsequently arrested three men who have appeared at Salford Magistrates’ Court today who have all been charged in relation to the shooting.

Sean Beddows, 22, of Stenson Square, Openshaw, has been charged with attempted murder, attempted robbery and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Jake Ryan, also 22, of no fixed address, has been charged with attempted murder, attempted robbery and possession with intent to supply heroin.

Eighteen-year-old Jurhys Skeene, of Richmond Hill, Hyde, has been charged with possession of a shotgun without a certificate and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Police are continuing to appeal for anyone with information about the incident to contact them on 0161 856 9203, quoting incident number 119 of 18 October 2018.
