Police investigating a stabbing in Audenshaw on Tuesday have made an arrest.
At around 7.30am on July 31st, officers found a woman with stab wounds on the roof of a house on Yew Street. She was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.
At around 8.35pm last night, officers from Greater Manchester Police’s Tactical Vehicle Intercept Unit stopped a car on Castleton Crescent, Glossop and arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder.
He remains in custody for questioning.
