A nursery in Hyde is hosting a fantastic family fun day this weekend as it hopes to raise enough money to buy a defibrillator.

Kinder Giggles Nursery & Pre-School, based at New Century House on Victoria Road, is welcoming the local community to their fundraising event from 1pm-3pm on Sunday July 1st.

There will be fabulous fun for all the family, with a barbeque, face painting and a visit from the fire brigade, who will be bringing a fire engine for children to look around.

There will be stalls from Heaven Scent by Dawn, The Body Shop at Home with Sarah, The Little Cakery Co, The Artisan Angel and much more.

Stallholders have also generously donated prizes for a raffle, as have The Works at Gym and Pristine Eco Cleaning Services.

Zoe Shorrock, Deputy Manager at Kinder Giggles, said: “The purpose of our Fundraiser is to raise money to purchase a defibrillator that will be installed outside on our Nursery premises, not only for our use but for the community.

“We are located across from the Village Hotel and are situated next to several public transport links – Hyde North train station as well as the 330 bus route, this puts us in a great location to be able to offer a community defibrillator.”

Once the money for the defibrillator is raised, it will be fitted by local electrician James Whiteley.
