Dukinfield Town Football Club have confirmed a string of new signings ahead of the 2018/19 season in the Manchester Premier League.

Former Fleetwood Town centre half Dominic Barrett has agreed to join the club, alongside left wing back Rob Wong, who has previously played for Ashton United’s reserve side.

Bradley Humphries, a central defensive midfielder, has also put pen to paper, along with 16-year-old Cobie Entwistle, who has previously played for Stoke City, Burnley and Oldham Athletic. The youngster will be part of Duki’s three sides as he balances football with his education.

Under the stewardship of joint-managers Phill Cooper and Brian Entwistle, Duki will be aiming to improve on last season’s finish during their first full season in charge of the club.

In a bid to prepare for the new season, the club will be facing a number of higher ranked sides during their pre-season schedule, including Evo-Stik Premier outfit Buxton, who are currently managed by former Ashton United, Stalybridge Celtic and Glossop North End duo, Paul Phillips and Steve Halford.

In other news, the club has also welcomed Paulie Wyke on board as the new Chief Scout.

Duki are also looking for a new physio. Those interested can contact the club on their Twitter: DukiTownFC
