Ashton fought back from 0-14 down with a penalty try followed by Conan Bligh’s try reducing the arrears to 12-14.

Ashton proceeded to dominate the second half and looked to have blown it when prop Parker kicked away possession on the last play, however this caused confusion in the visitors defence and they gave away an offside kickable penalty. Up stepped Josh Pattison to slot the pressure kick and win the game.
