Stalybridge train station is being transformed into a community hub for the next three weeks.

It’s part of Transport for Greater Manchester’s Platforms For All project.

Spaces at the station will be used for a range of free activities for the benefit of passengers and the local communities. Events include arts exhibitions and classes, community gym classes, mental health awareness sessions, debt advice workshops and Christmas stalls.

There will be a launch event at the station on Friday (December 1) between 11:30am and 12:30pm, which Stalybridge South councillor Doreen Dickinson will be attending.
