Ossett Albion have confirmed the signing of Droylsden striker Scott Metcalfe.

After joining from Warrington Town last season, Metcalfe helped the Bloods to a mid-table finish in the Evo-Stik Division One North.

Meanwhile, the club have recently signed Warrington Town midfielder Gerard Kinsella.

The 26-year-old began his career at Everton before moving to Fleetwood Town.

During his time on the coast, Kinsella was banned for two years for contravening anti-doping regulations after taking medication for a shoulder injury.

Upon his return to football, he enjoyed spells with Hyde United and Skelmersdale United, before signing for Warrington in 2016.

Droylsden make the journey to Stamford this weekend in the FA Trophy second qualifying round.
