Police have confirmed that a missing 27-year-old man from Manchester could be in Gorton.

Lee Hart was last seen at his grandparent’s house on Lavenham Avenue in Clayton at around 12:30pm yesterday afternoon (Sunday).

It is thought he may have then been in the area of The Macdonald Hotel in the city centre and now may be in the Debdale or Gorton area.

Lee is described as white, around 5ft 7in, of medium build with blue eyes, brown hair and stubble.

He may be wearing either dark blue tracksuit bottoms or jeans, black trainers with white soles and a dark blue jacket.

Sergeant Kal Bhatti, of GMP’s City of Manchester Team, said: “Although we aren’t sure where Lee exactly is, we believe he may be in the Debdale or Gorton area of Manchester, so I’d ask people in the area to keep an eye out for him and let us know if they see him.

“Similarly, if you were near to The Macdonald Hotel yesterday afternoon and may have seen him, please get in touch with us.

“We need to piece together his movements so we have a better chance of finding him and reuniting him with his family.”

Anyone who sees Lee or knows where he is should contact police on 101, quoting reference number 948 of 23/10/17 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
