In the Naional League North, Curzon Ashton extended their unbeaten run to four games with a 1-1 draw against Leamington.

Curzon took the lead in the 28th minute through Ben Wharton, but were pegged back in the 78th minute when Jack Edwards struck.

The result leaves the Nash 15th in the table, ahead of tonight’s remaining fixtures in the National League North.

John Flanagan’s side begin their FA Cup campaign this weekend with a short trip to local rivals Stockport County.

The two sides have already met in league competition this season, where Curzon fell to a 3-0 loss at Edgeley Park.

Elsewhere, in the Evo-Stik First Division North, Droylsden have propelled themselves to the top of the table after claiming a 3-2 victory at Brighouse Town.

Th result, which has extended Droylsden’s unbeaten run in all competitions to eight games, came courtesy of goals from Liam Caddick, Dom Smith and Ciaran Kilheeney.

Dave Pace’s side continue with their FA Cup campaign this weekend, as the Bloods travel to Lancaster City of the Evo-Stik Premier Division.
