Pratt leaves Mossley to join Trafford FC

Tom Pratt has left Mossley AFC to join Trafford FC.

Pratt leaves the club having spent four seasons with the Lilywhites, where he notched 45 times in 171 appearances.

The 21-year-old striker came through the ranks at Bury FC, scoring prolifically as a junior and youth, before graduating to the first team squad in 2012 making 2 first team appearances in the 2012/13 season.

Pratt signed for Mossley on-loan in August 2013, before making a short departure to Ashton United in 2014.

Upon his return to Seel Park, Pratt finished as top scorer with 16 goals in consecutive seasons and also scooped the Supporters’ Player of the Year on both occasions.

Pratt announced his decision to leave Mossley on Twitter. He said: “Would like to thank everyone at @Mossleyfc for a great three years and wish them the best of luck. Time for a new challenge @FCTrafford”

In other news at Seel Park, the club is gearing up for the annual Mossley 10k.

Sponsored by O’Donnell Solicitors, the event is taking place on Sunday, July 16.

Entry has been priced at £15 for unaffiliated runners, or £13 for UK Athletics affiliated runners.
