Ryan Hall has left Curzon Ashton to join recently promoted National League North side, Spennymoor Town.

The midfielder leaves the Nash having scored nine goals last season, which helped the club to a mid-table finish in the National League North.

Hall joined Curzon in the summer of 2016 with big expectations after impressing with Evo-Stik Division One North side Brighouse Town, where he notched 65 times in 175 appearances.

Upon announcing his decision to join Spennymoor, Hall tweeted:

“Delighted to be joining Spennymoor Town, management and club made me feel very welcome and i can’t wait to get going.”

Hall also praised the Curzon fans for their support during his time with the club: “Thanks for a great season, been a good year , massive respect for the club, players and fans, all the best for the future.”

Elsewhere at the Tameside Stadium, midfielder Luke Clark and striker Ian Howard have committed their futures to the club.

Clark joined the club from Salford City at the beginning of last season and was an integral part of the squad which progressed to the FA Cup Second Round against AFC Wimbledon in December.

Howard, who has previously played for Stockport County and Northwich Victoria, joins the club for a second season.

A versatile player, Howard suffered an injury setback towards the end of the campaign but still helped the Nash consolidate a position in the National League North for a third season.

Both players join a growing list of players to have committed their futures to the club. These include: Olly Thornley; Jordan Wright; Dan Shaw; Steve Howson; Scott Bakkor; Cameron Mason; Paul Marshall; Matt Regan; Joe Guest and Niall Cummins.
