Paint it Pink!

Tameside 4 Good’s paint it Pink charity week takes place all next week – with the whole of Tameside poised to turn pink for the good cause.

Tameside 4 Good funds many activities for disadvantaged young people, aged five to 25, and Tameside community group projects that alleviate poverty, improve health, and develop skills, education and employment.

Can you do something ‘good’ and join in too?

For #PaintedPink16, local charity Tameside 4 Good wants everyone to make a pink splash to raise some cash.

Whether it’s at work, home or with your community group, have fun while you make a difference to local lives.

Can you get family, friends and colleagues to pledge their support by donating just £2 per person to wear pink or will they sponsor you to do something wild and wacky but safe?

You can do anything from organising coffee mornings, making something pink and wearing it, making cakes and selling them – just anything – so long as it involves pink!

£10 buys a piece of sports equipment for a youth group, £12 delivers a safe play activity for an autistic child, and £40 provides a group exercise session for isolated older people.

If you have any questions, need some fundraising resources (collecting tins, balloons, posters etc.) or just need some extra help, you can contact the Tameside 4 Good fundraising team on Tel: 0161 339 4985 or Email: [email protected] and they will be happy to assist.

Tameside4Good Paint It Pink runs from Monday, May 8 to Saturday, May 13.
