Training with Tameside Arts

Tameside Arts are launching a programme of training courses for professionals, parents and anyone who would like to further their knowledge of a series of safeguarding and medication awareness topics.

The courses will be delivered by experienced trainers selected from the fields of education, nursing and social work.

The courses, which will run all year round, include epilepsy awareness, PEG Feeding, Person Centres Care, Learning Disability and Autism Awareness, Safeguarding Children and Adults, Effective Communication, patient moving and handling.

Attendees will receive free refreshments and a certificate.

The courses start on Tuesday, May 30, and will be held at New Chapel in Denton and Rosemount Church in Hyde, costing between £15 and £30.
