16-year-old boy stabbed in Hyde

A 16-year-old boy was stabbed in Hyde last night.

He was stabbed in the leg and abdomen following an altercation on Clarendon Street, outside Hyde bus station, at around 7.30pm last night.

The boy was taken to Tameside Hospital with slash wounds and remains in a stable condition.

Police have yet to make an arrest and anyone with information on the stabbing should call police on 101, quoting incident number 1873 of 22/03/17, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
