Hyde United Football Club are appealing to the Tameside community to help them reach their £15,000 crowd-funding target by Thursday morning.

In a bid to maintain their community work – which includes Disability Football, Walking Football for the over 50s and Girls and Ladies football – the Tigers need to raise an additional £960 by 9.14am on Thursday 12 January.

Those who pledge their support will be in with a chance of claiming a cash prize of £500 as well as a holiday worth £2,500.

A Hyde United spokesman said: “This program has already engaged with over 300 local boys and girls aged six to 16 and we know we can do so much more. Please send out to all your email contacts, share our Facebook and twitter posts, and speak to people to get them signed up.”
