In the Stockport Senior Cup, Mellor Res are through to the next round by beating High Lane Res. 5-4, as are Spurley Hey who won 2-1 against fellow L&C team Stoconians Res and also Hillgate who won 6-4 against Signol Ath Res.
In the Derbys Jun. County Cup (North) Tintwistle Ath. Res had a convincing 4-1 win against Blazing Rag FC from the Hope Valley Amat. League.
However, not much luck for L&C teams in the Lancashire Amateur Cup with Rochdalians losing 3-0 away at Mostonians AFC, Bedians losing 6-2 at Prestwich and South Manchester also losing 2-0 at Lancs Amat. League side Thornleigh.

Top of the Premier Division, Mellor kept up their current good form with a 4-2 win against third placed Tintwistle, whilst second place Whalley Range carried on the chase with a 6-2 win against bottom placed Moston Brook.
In mid table High Lane were beaten at home 3-0 by Old Ashtonians, Parrs Wood Celtic ran out 3-2 winners away at Old Trafford & Gorse Hill, whilst Abacus Media and Newton shared nine goals with Abacus coming out as the winners.

It’s all the same at the top Division One where the top four teams all won. Moorside Rangers maintained their position at the top with 4-2 win over Old Strets at Flixton Park. Second placed Signol Ath. ran out 3-1 winners against Bury Ams, Newton Heath finished 4-3 winners at home to Salford Vics and Milton maintained their good form with 3-0 win away at Oldham Victoria.
Other result in this division were Stoconians wining 4-1 at Swinton FC and Trafford Utd. Winning 1-0 at home to Didsbury FC.

In Division Two new boys Waterloo still find themselves top on goal difference despite being hammered 7-2 at Whalley Range Res who are now closing on second place. A 2-0 win for AFC Oldham at Moston Brook Res. kept them in second place, whilst Chorltonians 8-1 win over Hooley Bridge Celtic puts them close on the heels of fourth place team Mellor who were away on County Cup duty.
Other results in the division were South Mancs. Res. won 3-0 at home to Newton Res. and Staly Lions comfortably beat Parrs Wood Res. 6-2.

Division Three sees three teams all on the same points and all winning this weekend, Salford Vics Res. winning 3-0 away at Heaton Mersey, stay top on goal difference from Didsbury Res. who managed to come out on top with best of five goals at home to Rochdalians Res. and Chorltonians Reserves who won 2-1 away at bottom placed Hooley Bridge Celtic Res.
Other results were Newton Heath Reserves came out 7-4 winners against Santos and Manchester Polonia and Chadderton Park shared the points in a 1-1 draw at Albert Park.

In Division A Whalley Range 3rds stay top of the table after 5-2 win over Chorltonians Rovers, whilst Hollingworth maintained the chase with a 2-1 win at Aldermere.
Bury Ams. Res. stay in joint third place with a 5-0 win at home to league newcomers Hargreaves and Mellor 3rds hammered Moston Brook 3rds 8-1 putting them further adrift at the bottom of the division.

In Division B Old Trafford and Gorse Hill FC Reserves stay at the top of the table with a convincing 7-3 win at Chorltonians Villa with Abacus Media Res. keeping up the chase by winning 4-1 at Deans 1st.
In the chasing pack Tintwistle 3rds came 6-3 winners at league new boys Rochdale Galaxy 1st whilst Strets. Res. were winning convincingly 6-0 at Milton Res. and Bedians were sharing two goals with Village Manchester.
The only other result in the division saw Bury Ams. 3rds win 7-1 at home to Staly Lions Res.
Moorside Rangers Res. are still flying high in Division C and a formidable 8-0 over Stoconians 3rds this weekend sees them maintain top spot. Second place Manchester Rovers came out on the best side of five, goals winning 3-2 at Abacus Media 3rds and Salford Vics 3rds held on top third spot with an 8-3 victory at home to AFC Oldham 3rds.
Other divisional results were Parrs Wood 3rds won 3-2 at Moston Brook 4ths and Didsbury 3rds lost out 2-1 against AFC Stockport.

Bedians 4ths maintained their lead at the top of Division D with a 4-2 win at Stoconians 4ths whilst second place Old Strets 3rds were winning 5-1 at home to Droylsden YC 1st and Trafford Utd Res kept up their challenge for second place with a 3-2 win away at basement club AFC Oldham 4ths.
Other mid table results in the division were Swinton Res winning 6-2 away at Chorltonians Athletic whilst league new boys Chadderton Park Res had a fine 4-0 win at home to Whalley Range 4ths and Didsbury 4ths ran out 3-0 winners at Staly Lions 4ths.
