Hyde v Nantwich
Monday 18th April 2016 12:12 Football Hyde Sports Posted by Mark Phillip

Hyde United take on Nantwich Town this evening in what could be considered a must win game for the Tigers.

Darren Kelly’s side find themselves sitting three points below the relegation zone following Saturday’s 2-1 loss at Buxton.

The Dabbers enter the game in the knowledge that they’ll be playing step seven football once again next year after failing to forge their way into the playoffs this season.

The visitors to Ewen Fields this evening were denied victory in the last minute at Salford City on Saturday when Richard Allen popped up to rescue a 1-1 draw for the promotion chasing Ammies.

The result subsequently secured Salford’s place in the playoffs this season.

Meanwhile, Hyde enter tonight’s fixture having not won in ten league fixtures.

Their last three points came at the end of February following a 2-1 victory against Buxton.

Kick off at Ewen Fields is 7.45pm.
