IT logoA new appeal for nostalgic pitctures of Dukinfield is going out as the ever popular Dukinfield Photographic Exhibition makes another surprise return.

The exhibition will be back in Dukinfield Library next week to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the event – just three months after the last exhibition.

Cllr John Taylor, who collates the exhibition said: “It brings a lot of memories and heritage to the town and shows a different Dukinfield to how it is now.

“We are also looking for more photographs, old and new, so that we can add them to the exhibition for next week.”

If anyone has any photographs to add to the collection you can take a copy along to Dukinfield Library.

For library opening times and for anyone interested in contacting Cllr Taylor regarding donating photos, please visit the Tameside Council website for further information at www.tameside.gov.uk
