The event is designed to take participants and spectators on a special journey which includes a full afternoon of racing, a special entertainment show and an after party to top things off.

The obstacle racing experience provides an opportunity for athletes to push their bodies to the physical limit during Olympic style heats which have been described on the official website as gladiatorial.

Whilst the fitness fanatics were put through their paces on the day, the Tycoons adopted a more glamorous outlook for the event and showcased their exceptional talent before a buoyant crowd.

The 29 dancers were joined by Tycoon Ted on the day who proved to be a popular hit with all involved.

Guest stars on the afternoon included two famous faces from the popular hit TV series Gladiators, as Hunter and Panther, who featured on the show for five years each, were more than happy to pose for photographs with excited fans.

Jane Wood, Who is founder of the Academy, detailed her delight on adding some extra glamour to proceedings.

She told Reporter Sport “It was great to be a part of Urban Attack this year and all our members thoroughly enjoyed it.”

The event last weekend is a precursor to the various events scheduled for the new year, which include the much anticipated Nationals next March.
