The annual presentation allows players, staff and associates of the club to congregate for one night only and celebrate the highs and lows of the season gone by.

And with the second team clinching the Saddleworth & District Championship, there was plenty to rejoice on the action packed evening.

Former Audenshaw High School pupil Jamie Walker caused batsmen all sorts of problems during the campaign, and his efforts were rewarded when he was honoured with the second division bowling award by Labour MP for Oldham East and Saddleworth, Debbie Abrahams.

Matt Halliday enjoyed his time behind the stumps last season and proved to be a valuable asset in the side.

His steady hands earned him the first division wicket keeping award.

Gareth Dent and Dale Evans picked up the first and second XI batting awards respectively, whilst Mohammed Shakir took to the stage to accept the 1st XI bowling award.

Jamie Walker proved to be a familiar face on the evening, as he was reintroduced to the audience for a second time.

On this occasion, he scooped the second team bowling award.

The Under 17’s were also acknowledged on the night, with Scott Nesbit and Mitchell Roche resented with the batting and bowling prizes separately.
