Bus users in Stalybridge are invited to a public meeting tonight (12 Sept) following persistent complaints over services in the past year.

The customer evening comes after residents from the Ridge Hill area of Stalybridge complained to local councillor Jan Jackson regarding the effectiveness of the number 387 and 389 services.

Concerns about punctuality and types of vehicles used are the reason for the meeting, with operators First UK Bus expected to have good news about the introduction of newer buses and timetable improvements.

The meeting starts at 6pm at Kendal House, Ambleside, and for further information you can call the First group on (0161) 627 2929 or to let Cllr Jackson know of your concerns, telephone (0161) 368 8813.
