Park pavilion opens again

The centrepiece of a Tameside Park has reopened once again after damage caused by vandals was repaired at a cost of £200,000.

Local councillors campaigned for the Pavilion in Stamford Park to re-open after it was closed due to persistent damage.

Now for the next month at least, the popular café and centre will be open seven days a week.
