Tameside Hospital was flying the flag yesterday as it officially launched their new values and brand to welcome in the dawn of a new era.

Local MPs David Heyes and Andrew Bingham were on hand to play an active part in the celebrations.

A new ‘Thank You’ wall was officially opened by Mr Bingham where patients can leave their own personal messages to the hospital, while Mr Heyes had the duty of cutting an ‘Everyone Matters’ cake.

Almost a year after the Keogh review, Hospital Interim Chief Executive Karen James said: “This is a day to celebrate all the hard work that has taken place over the past 12 months to actually improve the care that we provide for the patients here at Tameside Hospital.”
