Droylsden Academy has been left counting the cost after a break-in last weekend.

CCTV footage shows one man breaking into the Academy between 2:50am-3:10am on Sunday March 3rd.

18 Acer Chromebooks, 1 MacBook Pro 15 and 6 Apple iPads were taken.

A post on the Academy’s Facebook page read: “Unfortunately the Academy was broken into over the weekend and sadly it is the students who suffer on these occasions as their resources have been stolen.

“If you have any information or you are offered any of these items, please contact the Academy in the strictest of confidence. Thank you.”
