Four men charged in connection with armed robbery at Daisy Nook

Four men have been charged after a woman had her car stolen at gun point at Daisy Nook.

Jason Peter Hancock, 28, of Monmouth Street, Oldham has been charged with committing fraud by false representation.

Steven Michael Clarke, 30, Monmouth Street, Oldham has been charged with robbery and possession of a firearm while committing an offence.

The two men have been taken into custody ahead of appearing at Manchester and Salford court on Friday 1 March 2019.

Joshua O’Neill, 25, of Norfolk Street, Oldham has been charged with committing fraud by false representation.

A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with robbery and possession of a firearm while committing an offence.

They have been bailed and are due to appear at Manchester and Salford court on Friday 1 March 2019.

A 35 year old man who was previously arrested on suspicion of robbery has been released with no further action taken.

The incident happened at around 11am on Wednesday December 19. The victim, a woman in her 30s, was driving along Stannybrook Road in her grey Audi Q3 when another car, believed to be a grey Fiat Bravo, drove into the back of her.

The car followed her into a car park at Daisy Nook but as she started to exchange details, the driver threatened her with a gun.

He then drove off in her Audi before a second man drove away in the Fiat. Thankfully, the woman wasn’t injured.
