Man arrested after armed robbery at Droylsden bank

A man has been arrested after an armed robbery in Droylsden this morning (December 31st).

Police were called to the Royal Bank of Scotland on Market Street just before 9.20am and arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of armed robbery shortly after.

Thankfully, there were no injuries but police enquiries are ongoing.
