Players net top awards at presentation evening

Tameside Netball Club held its annual presentation night at the Alma Lodge in Stockport on Friday, November 16.

The event was well attended by players, coaches and parents from the under 9s to the under 15s.

There were three awards up for grabs on the night: Most Improved Player; Players’ Player; and Coaches’ Player.

Most Improved Player:

In senior news, the Premier Squad are currently seventh in the table after six games so far this season. They have won two and lost four. Action continues this weekend with a home clash against third placed Academy. The game is taking place at Manchester Metropolitan University. 11.30am start.

Meanwhile, the Under 15s netted a top result against Bury in the North West Senior Champs 2 League last weekend, coming out on top 65-51.
