In the Evo-Stik Premier Division, Hyde United were held to a 1-1 draw at Witton Albion. 

Darren Kelly’s side took the lead through John McCombe in the 48th minute, only for Witton to battle back and level matters in the 71st minute through River Humphreys. 

Meanwhile, Stalybridge Celtic manager Simon Haworth picked up his first win in charge with a 3-2 victory over Marine. 

Celtic were two ahead before the 10th minute, thanks to efforts from Tom brown and Liam Tongue, but Marine reduced the deficit through Joshua Hine on the stroke of half-time. Brown notched his second in the 77th minute to effectively secure the game, though Marine did pull another back from the peanlty spot in the 85th minute to create a nervy ending.

In the Evo-Stik West, Droylsden are unbeaten in their opening two games after a 1-1 draw at Leek Town. Liam Caddick put the Bloods ahead in the 62nd minute, but Leek equalised with nine minutes remaining through Matt Bailey.

Mossley have secured back-to-back wins after a 2-1 victory over Widnes. Max Leonard and Liam Ellis gave the Lilywhites a two goal advnatage, before Jamie Rainford notched a consolation effort in the 90th minute. Glossop were condemned to their second successive defeat in a 3-1 loss at Prescot. Jack Burke registered for the Hillmen.
