Everyone loves a summer fair and local charity Finding Rainbows are bringing their spectacular offering to Audenshaw this bank holiday weekend.

The annual summer fair is a great way to support a growing charity while having a fun-filled day out with all the family. Aldwinians Rugby Club, in Audenshaw Park, Droylsden, will be alive with carnival spirit from 11am-4.30pm on Monday August 27th.

There will be a variety of stalls, tombola, fairground rides, face painting and bouncy castles… and there’s the added advantage of avoiding the bank holiday traffic!

The whole Tameside community are invited along to see the innovative work done by Finding Rainbows, while those who already know of or have used the service can put names to faces and share their stories.

The Finding Rainbows trustees are excited to welcome the local community to their annual summer fair this bank holiday Monday.

Finding Rainbows was founded in 2012 by Tameside mum Natalie Cook, after the death of her eight-and-a-half week old son, Kaiden. The charity provides counselling and support to family members who are trying to cope with the death of an infant or child. Regular coffee mornings, one-to-one meetings, home visits and free counselling are just some of the services on offer.

Finding Rainbows is looking to grow the provision it currently provides, with several exciting projects currently in the pipeline. The charity is steadily growing and in order to fulfil it’s ambitious plans, Finding Rainbows hope to move to a new, more suitable building in the near future.

More fundraising events can be found on the charity’s website,, including an exciting Ladies Night at Ashton Masonic Hall on Saturday September 29th. Tameside Radio’s John Mercer will be creating that Saturday night feeling with his very own style of ‘Super trashy cabaret’, while singer Stephanie Vale will be providing vocals during the evening,

For those wanting to shake their tail feathers, burlesque act ‘Blush Dance’ will also be performing. Tickets cost just £10 and are on sale now. To book, you can contact the charity on 07934 523 386, pay via PayPal by e-mailing [email protected], or pay on the night.
