Mossley have signed Godwin Abadaki ahead of the new season in the Evo-Stik West.

The striker re-joins the club for a second spell, having previously made 27 appearances for the Lilywhites after joining in 2015.

The 24-year-old has experience in the Football League, having made two appearances for Rochdale in 2012 before signing on a youth loan with then Championship outfit, Huddersfield Town.

Abadaki enjoyed further loan spells in non-league with Hyde United, Southport, Stalybridge Celtic and Workington.

After his release from Rochdale in May 2014, he then joined Northwich Victoria before signing for Ashton United.

Abadaki finished last season with the now defunct Shaw Lane.

He joins a growing list of players to have joined the club, who will be managed by Dave Wild and Terry Hincks, including defenders Ben Richardson and Adam Jones, who both played for Glossop North End last season.
