Ewen Fields to host star-studded charity football match

A charity football match in aid of the Christie Cancer Clinic is taking place at Hyde United’s Ewen Fields on Sunday, July 29.

The game will be contested between FC Hyde and a star-studded celebrity team, which includes a number of soap stars and former professionals such as Richie Wellens, John Macken and Andy Dibble.

There will also be a tournament on the day, in which eight children’s teams will battle it out for the Kick out Cancer trophy, plus a chance to win some fantastic prizes in the £10 raffle, including signed memorabilia from the likes of Lionel messi, Christiano Ronaldo and Conor McGregor.

In addition to this, there will be a crossbar challenge and kids penalty shootout.

Admission has been priced at £3 adult and £1 children. Children under two gain free admission. A match day programme is included with admission.
