Tameside Saturday League:

Chadderton Park under 17’s Eagles enjoyed back to back win’s against Littleborough in a league double header.
In the first game the Eagles ran out 4-1 winners thanks to Brandon Reavey who scored all four goals in a superb display.
In the second game as both teams started to tire the Eagles enjoyed a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Brandon Reavey and Ben Mulholland.

North Bury League:

Chadderton Park under 14’s Lions enjoyed a 4-1 win against Littleborough Blues in the final of the North Bury JFL League Cup to lift the trophy. The Lions opened the scoring through a Dalton Martins tap in and it was soon 2-0 when a great team move released Lewis North who fired home. Littleborough made it 2-1 before half time with a well taken free kick.
Further second half goals from Dalton and North secured the 4-1 win for the Lions and the silverware.

Chadderton Park under 13’s Griffins followed up their league title win the week before with a 3-1 win over Rossendale Valley in the Final of the Under 13’s North Bury JFL League Cup to become double winners.
Callum Jones coolly opened the scoring a well taken goal.
Ollie Havens made it 2-0 with a great run through the middle of the pitch and he fired home into the top corner.
In the second half Rossendale ensured a barnstorming finish when they made it 2-1 with 10 minutes remaining.
But the game was put to bed with a stunning goal when Kamen Ray locked horns with the Rossendale keeper when he ran out to try and stop him from getting on the end of a through ball. Ray brought the ball under control, swivelled round him and sent a long shot into the centre of the open goal to make it 3-1 and seal the Double.

Chadderton Park under 12’s Cobras had a good 3-1 win away at Pennine Juniors Whites.
Pennine should have taken an early lead when against the run of play they were awarded a penalty but Cobras Keeper Alfie Taylor pulled off a stunning save to keep it 0-0.
But the Cobras soon took the lead when Josh Watson capitalised on a loose ball to make it 1-0 at half time.
Jac Smith made it 2-0 in the second half when he was latched on to a quick throw in from Aidy Broadhurst, Smith skipped through the defence with the ball and smashed it home.
Pennine made it 2-1 when the Cobras switched off and they punished a poor clearance.
In a tense final five minutes a smart move started by Akeem Bhatti saw Meeko win a great challenge in the middle who found George Albert with a great ball, George turned his man and laid the ball on sweetly for the ever energetic Harry Cameron to drive forward and coolly slot the ball in the bottom corner to make it 3-1.

Chadderton Park under 12’s Dragons had to settle for a point has their title hopes were dented after a 2-2 draw away at Cheetham Hill Whites.
It was an evenly contested opening 10 mins, then Cheetham Hill struck the post on 14mins with the rebound gathered by Frank Gibbons.
The Dragon’s finally broke the deadlock midway through the first half when a ball from the back released Cunningham and he intelligently squared it for Jack Wright to fire it past the keeper to give the Dragons a 1-0 lead.
Cheetham Hill responded and equalised just before half time to make it 1-1.
As both teams continued to push in the second half, the Dragons finally took the lead again through a clinical run and finish from Alfie McMylor 2-1.
The Dragons just couldn’t put the game to bed despite having numerous chances and once again Cheetham Hill equalised against the run of play with four minutes to go.
With seconds remaining and the Dragons sending everyone forward for a corner which found its way onto the head of the Dragons keeper Frank Gibbons whose header went agonisingly wide by a matter of inches and the points were shared.
