Curzon Ashton Football Club has joined forces with this year’s Tour of Tameside.

As an official community partner, the club are holding a Family Fun Mile, which will start once the Dr Ron Hyde 7 Mile, taking place on Sunday June 17, has set off.

Juniors, families and staff, alongside players and management, will take part in the race to raise funds for the new artificial pitch at the Tameside Stadium.

The new surface is scheduled to be completed at the beginning of September and will need further maintenance in the months that follow.

In other news, the club has also confirmed ticket prices for next season. In a bid to attract as many youngsters as possible, the club is offering Under 16s with a FREE season ticket. These tickets, on presentation at the turnstile, will allow an accompanying adult to enter the stadium at half the admission cost – reducing the financial cost for families in Tameside that want to support the Nash in what will be their fourth consecutive season in the National League North.

The club also has a unique offer for students – a free season ticket that will allow them to pay what they can afford at each home league match next season.
