Tameside Sunday League
Chadderton Park under 18’s Lions reached the semi-finals of the Under 18’s Sunday Challenge Cup with a 4-2 win at home to Mossley JFC U18’s with the goals coming from Alex Knight, Lucas Kavanagh, Jack O’Neil and Geo Burns.
North Bury League
Chadderton Park under 14’s Lions made it 10 league wins out of 10 with a solid 2-0 win at home to Kersal. Adam Belwassa giving the Lions the lead and Lewis North made the points safe with the Lions second goal, but the Lions couldn’t find a third goal that their play deserved.
East Manchester Junior Football League – Sunday
Chadderton Park under 14s Lions also made it 10 league wins out of 10 with a great 8-1 win away at 3D Dynamos. The Lions took the lead when Tom Cassidy scored his first goal for the Lions. 3D equalised with a stunning 20 yard goal. But the Lions regained the lead almost straight away when Aidan Boyles slotted home. Antonis Koiloropoulos scored a second half hat-trick, along with further goals from Elijah Olunga and Dalton Martins before Tom Cassidy scored his second goal of the game to complete the scoring.
North Manchester Girls League
Chadderton Park U13 Girls had a good 2-0 win at home to SK Vipers. A great defensive display from SK Vipers kept the score at 0-0 in the first half and Chaddy finally took the lead when Jenna Ford scored from 20 yards to break the SK Vipers defiance. Emily Parsons finally settled the game and the points for Chaddy when she scored a superb poachers goal to make it 2-0.
