Oldham return to winning ways in North West Championship League

Oldham Netball Club’s North West Championship squad returned to winning ways with a 59-52 victory over Bury on Saturday.

The result leaves the squad fifth in the table on 27 points, having won five and lost two of their seven games this season.

Following the game, Oldham coach Clair Christy tweeted: “Super proud of these girls today, beating Bury 59-52 in NW Champs…great game to watch, with some amazing attacking play from both teams.”

The squad has a break from action this weekend but return to the court on Saturday, March 3, with a trip to struggling Dominoes, who are third from bottom on 14 points.
