Hyde United have signed Max Leonard on a one month loan from Telford Utd.

The striker joins the club having previously played for Glossop North End last season – finishing as the club’s top scorer – before joining Curzon Ashton over summer.

Leonard was unable to impress during the first few months at the Tameside Stadium and decided to join Telford in November.

Despite a glittering track record in front of goal, Leonard has struggled to make an impression at the New Bucks Head. He leaves the Bucks, albeit temporarily, in the National League North drop zone.

Leonard made his Hyde debut off the bench in Saturday’s 2-0 victory at Ossett Town.
