Mossley Football Club joint-manager Peter Band has made a number of signings over the past week.

According to the Mossley Correspondent, the Lilywhites’ squad has been strengthened significantly in a number of areas. Curzon Ashton midfielder, Matty Crothers has signed on-loan, while Ashley Leather, who can play as a winger or striker, has arrived from Wythenshawe Town.

Crothers returned to the Tameside Stadium over summer, having spent last season gaining valuable experience in the North West Counties First Division with Chadderton.

Elsewhere, centre-back Declan Evans has been dual registered from Chorley, while right-back Kieran Dale, formerly of Northwich Victoria and  more of Chadderton, has also landed at Seel Park.

Tom Fisher has returned from a knee injury and midfielder Jonah Gosling has also re-signed.

Mossley have also been boosted by the return of Logan Jeffs. The centre-back has been out of action for a significant period, having snapped an anterior cruciate ligament last January.

Former Oldham Athletic forward Jack Tuohy is also back after two months on the sidelines with damaged ankle ligaments.

The club has also said goodbye to midfielder Sam Howell, who has left due to limited game time.
