Audenshaw School Rugby will embark on their latest international tour with a trip to Spain during the Easter break of 2018.

In what will be the fifth overseas rugby tour in the last seven years, the players from the U13-U15 age groups will have the chance to take on some of the leading junior teams from the Madrid area as well as the opportunity to enjoy the many wonderful attractions that the Spanish Capital City has to offer. The touring party will depart on Sunday 8th April and will spend six days and five nights in the Madrid area where excursions include a stadium tour around the famous Bernabeu, the home of European giants, Real Madrid as well as sightseeing in Toledo and a day at the Parque Warner Theme Park, which houses it’s very own Hollywood Boulevard and the Warner Bros Film Studios.

The boys will be tested too with fixtures against local opposition and will enjoy the hospitality and culture of what is a rapidly developing sport in this part of Southern Europe. We look forward again to creating memories to last a lifetime through the sport of rugby union as we continue to grow the game and the opportunities awarded to the players of Audenshaw School.
