Droylsden have progressed to the Manchester Premier Cup semi-final after beating Mossley on penalties.

Stephen Hall gave the Bloods the lead in the 15th minute after heading home a Ben Barber cross. However, as the game was entering its dying stages, Danny McLaughlin capitalised on a loose ball inside the box and smashed home from close range.

With the score level at the end of 90 minutes, the game was taken straight to penalties, for which Droylsden won 5-4 after Mo Ali missed his spot kick.

Elsewhere in the MCP, Chadderton were beaten 2-0 by Abbey Hey.

In the Evo-Stik First Division North, Hyde United threw away a two goal lead in a 2-2 draw at Colne.

Matt Beadle opened the scoring for the Tigers in the 10th minute, before Tom Pratt doubled the lead just four minutes later. However, Colne responded well and pulled one back through Alex Curran in the 18th minute, before Sean Miller levelled matters 20 minutes later.

Stalybridge Celtic have exited the Integro League Cup. Steve Burr’s side fell to a 3-0 loss at Ramsbottom United. Eddie moran, Ben Richardson and Jerome Wright registered for the hosts.
