Ashton trailed 12-0 at HT, but fell away second half scoring a penalty try for their efforts.

Martin Kenny 5, Josh Hulme 2 Riddick Mayanu 2 and tries for Captain Jon Lee, Kane Fitton, Chris Regan, Louis Vaughan and Nick Ryan plus 6 Wayne Hadfield conversions keep Ashton top of the league.

Lancs Colts Cup
Ashton Colts 15-69 Fylde
Ashton entertained Fylde from three leagues above and held them to three tries apiece at half time, with the visitors turning on the gas second half to a comfortable win.

Ashton U11s 7-8 Glossop U11s
Georgie Pike, Ethan Sykes, Leighton Parker and Harry Cope scored in a game which saw Ashton have a great comeback from 3 tries down to nearly win the game.

Ashton U7s, U8s and U9s all played Marple on a glorious sunny morning with scores too numerous to mention.

All teams are looking for new players and helpers on Sundays at 10am and Fridays at 6pm at Ashton RFC

Ashton 1st are at home to Garstang on Saturday at 2.15pm, and the Colts play Sedgley on Sunday at 2pm.
