Old Altrinchamians 1-2 Royton Town

Royton Town made it three games unbeaten in all competitions with a 2-1 victory at Old Altrinchamians in the Manchester Premier League on Saturday.

victory, which came courtesy of Grant Riley and an own goal, has pushed Royton to sixth in the table on 20 points, having won six, drawn two and lost five of their opening 13 games.

Royton have break from league action this weekend and instead host Bolton County in the Gilgryst Cup.

Bolton enter the fixture on the back of four league losses, which has left them second bottom on six points, having won one, drawn three and lost nine of their opening 13 games.

The two sides have already met in league competition this season, and Royton won 2-0, thanks to goals from Daniel Gilmartin and Saul Ashworth.
