North Manchester 1st’s 15-10 Ashton 1st’s
 A Tom Costello try levelled things up 5-5 at half time ,but the wet conditions meant for a tight game and it went to the wire with Ashton pressing for the victory at the end after first team debutant  Conan Bligh was driven over for a try.
Ashton 2nd’s 29-0 Oldham 3rd’s
Wayne Hadfield got the first try following great work from Damien Munro, Martin Kenny added two, Aaron Jimenez also got a try on his debut and the game was rounded off by a straight run from Riddick Mayanu. A second bonus point win saw Ashton take top spot in the table
Ashton Colts 10-12 Bury Colts
Josh Meredith’s penalty brought the score back to 3-7 after Bury converted a try , and a George Guerin try converted by Meredith gave Ashton a HT 10-7 lead. However a tight second half saw the visitors get the winning try and  despite numerous Ashton attacks Bury’s defence was on top.
Two home games are taking place on Saturday. The first are taking on Bury, while the second face Eccles thirds. 3pm kick-off.
