The draw for the FA Cup Second Qualifying Round has been made.

Following Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Kendal Town at Ewen Fields, Hyde United have been rewarded with a trip to Warrington Town of the Evo-Stik Premier Division, while Droylsden, who beat Colwyn Bay 4-3 on Saturday, will face a trip to Lancaster City.

Having returned from Marine with a 3-1 victory on Saturday, Ashton United are on the road once again, this time with a trip to Newcastle Benfield of the Northern League Premier Division One.

Theo Bailey-Jones grabbed Stalybridge Celtic a last gasp winner against Farsley Celtic on Saturday, and the club have been handed a home clash against Chorley of the National League North in the next round.

Mossley face a replay at 1874 Northwich on Tuesday evening, with the winner hosting North Ferriby United of the National League North in the next round.

Curzon Ashton are the only club in Tameside to enter the competition at this stage, and John Flanagan’s side face a difficult trip local rivals Stockport County.

The two sides met during the second game of the season, with Curzon falling to a 3-0 defeat at Edgeley Park.

Curzon made national headlines in the competition last year, but were cruelly eliminated by AFC Wimbledon  in the second round at the Tameside Stadium.

The winner of each tie will receive a prize fund of £4,500.

All ties are scheduled to be played on Saturday, September 16.
