Stalybridge 195 for 5      Hollingworth 198 for 4

Stalybridge St Paul’s suffered defeat against Hollingworth on Saturday as they failed to gain the victory that Richard Wilde’s century deserved.

In a game shortened to 32 overs, Stalybridge set what appeared to be a tough target mainly thanks to a superb 90 ball 113 from opener Wilde. Richard Wright (45) also chipped in as Stalybridge set the hosts 195 to win

Hollingworth set about their task excellently however as they hit regular boundaries to achieve what eventually looked like a comfortable chase for the loss of just 4 wickets.

This week sees both team face Charlesworth with the 1sts at home. 1pm start.
