Dukinfield actress Safiya Haq has put her acting talents to the test for a series of quirky new videos to promote the launch of a new smart card for transport across Greater Manchester.

For the first time residents will be able to use a single ‘Get Me There’ smart card for all their journeys on any Greater Manchester trams and buses.

The videos – which can be viewed on you tube are intended to get people talking – about funny conversations overheard on the bus or tram.

Viewers are also being encouraged to share the videos as well as their own stories of funny and strange conversations they have overheard on public transport.

The videos will feature across TfGM’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts and people can get involved by using #getmethere.

TfGM are also offering get me there users the chance to win 28-day unlimited travel across the bus and tram network – you can find out how to enter on the TfGM Facebook page.
