MATCH REPORT Stalybridge St Paul’s v Dinting
Monday 17th July 2017 14:31 Sports Posted by Mark Phillip

Stalybridge St Paul’s exited the Bissenden Cup on Sunday against a strong Dinting side

Dinting batted first and made good use of the wicket, as they showed a great example of how to ‘time’ an innings. The innings finished on 261 meaning Stalybridge would have to bat at 6.5 runs per over to make the final.

Stalybridge were always facing an uphill struggle chasing such a large total but ‘gave it a go’ regardless, however they eventually fell well short at 102 all out.

Back to league action this week with both teams facing Chapel-en-le-Frith. Firsts at home with a 1pm start.
