A Gorton man found guilty of cocaine possession has been issued with a criminal behaviour order.

Lee Dallas O’Shea, 40, from Gardale Avenue, was issued the order at Manchester Magistrates Court last month.

The criminal behaviour order, which will last for three years, requires O’Shea not to use abusive, insulting, threatening or violent behaviour against any person.

He must also not enter the following venues in Gorton: The Royal Oak, The Cotton Tree, Belle Vue Greyhound Stadium, The Bluebell, The Sidings Gorton Working Men’s Club, The Friendship Tavern, The Waggon and Horses, The Lord Nelson, The Plough, The Gardeners Arms, The Vulcan Inn, The Prince of Wales and The Vale Cottage.

Police Constable Dale Chadwick, of GMP’s City of Manchester Team, said: “This order will hopefully go some way to reducing anti-social behaviour in the Gorton area.

“If anyone sees O’Shea in breach of this order in future, please contact 101 immediately.

“We continue to work in partnership with Manchester City Council to tackle anti-social behaviour and will not hesitate to utilise tactics like this in future to reassure the Gorton community.”
