Audenshaw Primary emerge victorious in football cluster tournament

The Audenshaw School Primary Cluster Football Competition of 2017 took place on Wednesday, May 3 with five teams arriving from three schools within the primary cluster.

The standard of football was superb with Audenshaw Primary emerging victorious with a 3-0 win over St Peter’s Church of England Primary School in the final. St Stephen’s Primary School, Audenshaw won the third place play off beating their own B team 2-1 on the adjoining pitch.

Chris Rose, Audenshaw head of rugby, said: “I would like to thank all of the primary teachers for bringining their teams to what was the tenth annual cluster football event.

“Many thanks too to Audenshaw PE students, Joel Tranter, Wade McKie, Tom Hughes, Isaac Frost, Stewart Jefferson and Jack Davies for their help in running the event.”
