Police looking for Michael Leadbetter who went missing on Febuary 26th 2017 launched a huge search for him, including diving teams combing the River Tame

Following the discovery of the body of Michael Leadbetter, 58, in Mossley on March 16, 2017, police are now anxious to locate Michael’s family.

Michael lived in Queen Street, Mossley, but he originally came  from Hull on Humberside.

He was found dead in the River Tame and is believed to have drowned, there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

 

Police are now asking for help to identify Michael’s next of kin, it is believed Michael is survived by brothers and sisters.
