Former Audenshaw School football star Zack Clough has scored three goals in the past two games for Championship outfit Nottingham Forest.

Clough, who turns 22 today, opened his account on Saturday by scoring a brace in a 3-0 victory over promotion chasing Brighton & Hove Albion.

72 hours later and Clough was on the score sheet again – this time grabbing a goal in a 3-2 loss at home to Brentford on Tuesday evening.

Clough came to prominence with Bolton Wanderers in 2015 and became something of a fans favourite, attracting widespread interest from Premier League clubs.

However, he made a shock move to the former European Champions on transfer deadline day for a reported £3 million, before making his debut a few days later in a dramatic 2-1 victory over Aston Villa at the City Ground.

Clough, who came through the youth ranks at Bolton, scored 21 times in 59 league appearances for The Trotters, including nine times this season in Sky Bet League One.

Forest continue with SkyBet Championship action this weekend at Burton Albion.
